It is a beautiful day here in the Inland Northwest. On the farm today, a few fruit trees joined the young orchard. It will be a few years before they are producing, but it feels good to know that they are on their way. Count so far: 5 apples, 4 cherries, a peach and a nectarine. The ewes are getting pretty big as lambing approaches. Only a couple weeks to go. They were sheared early this year, so we are ready whenever they are. Planting season is only a couple months away, so I need to start organizing seeds and getting some starts going. We are going to double the size of the garden this year and are planning to make our Farmer’s Market debut.
